70% tax on MRP of liquor 

Large ques in front of liquor shops. Delhi government tried to fetch some revenue from the customers. 70% tax will be levied on liquor. This will also help in reducing the crowd and maintain social distancing. In the capital of the country, the corona number is increasing rapidly. Then the opening of liquor shops sparked fear amongst the people. It resulted in long queues. Delhi government decided to levy a special corona fee. This fee will be in addition to any other tax currently being levied on the sale of liquor. It will be calculated by @70% of the MRP of the liquor.  Govt will charge it from Tuesday onwards.

It is good news from a revenue point of view. The government was already losing huge revenues due to lockdown. On the other hand, it will help in controlling the crowd on roads due to liquor sales.
