CMP 08 date extension demand by the taxpayer
It is again a nightmare. Tomorrow it is the last date to file CMP 08 but the form is not live on GST portal. Every composition taxpayer is asking for this form. There is a genuine demand for extension of date. It is the only way out. CBIC has no other option but to extend it. All taxpayers are expecting an update in this regard soon. A composition dealer is required to file this form by 18th of next month. This is the first month of CMP08.
The taxpayer is waiting for many days for the new form. Delay in form may cause the to delay in filing of returns. This date is also the last date for payment of tax. But it is expected that the date of filing of this form is going to be extended soon.
Taxpayer covered by notification no. 2/2019 are also required to fill the same form. They are also waiting for this form.
