A PIL was filed in the supreme court regarding the examinations of CA students. Today SC asked ICAI to address all the issues of CA students. The advocate for the case, Mr Alakh Alok has posted the following tweet. The matter is listed on 2nd June 2020.
Students were facing a lot of issues due to confusion on ICAI exams. The Opt-out option was given to the students. But there was a lack of clarity. Many students opposed it. Also, there is a suggestion for state-wise examinations. But conducting the exams may also be risky. Due to corona fear many people are opposing the examinations.
