- It is going to use the UPI technique which will enable the payment to different banks from one interface.
- Your thump impression can be used for validation in BHIM app.
- Using BHIM app you can make a payment by only a phone number.
- As of now BHIM app is available only for android. IOS version will be launched soon.
- You will be able to use it even without internet. User of this app will be able to make and receive payments even if you don’t have a smart phone or net is not working.
- To make payment via this app without smart phone you need to dial *99# and it will open the menu for various things available to you.
- There will a limit of Rs. 10,000 per transaction and Rs. 20,000 per day for the BHIM app.
- Even the bank who are not connected to this app can send receive money using the IFSC code.
- It is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India.Once you register on it your mobile number will be your payment address. You will be able to send /receive the payments using this address.
- A merchant will be able to create a QR code which can be scan for making the payments more easily.
- Initially it will be in Hindi and English but soon it will be launched in many other regional languages.
