The code on wages 2019 to replace 4 Acts

It will replace the following 4 Acts:

1⃣Payment of Wages Act
2⃣Minimum Wages Act
3⃣Payment of Bonus Act
4⃣Equal Remuneration Act.
The code on wages 2019 will be applicable from the date prescribed by the government.   It has 69 sections covering various provisions related to wages.

Clause 3  Prohibition of discrimination on ground of gender.
Clause 4 Decision as to disputes with regard to same or similar nature of work.

Clause 8 Procedure for fixing and revising minimum wages.
Clause 9 Power of Central Government to fix floor wage.
Clause 10 Wages of employee who works for less than normal working day.

Clause 13 Fixing hours of work for a normal working day.
