  Abid is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a semi qualified Cost Accountant. He has completed the Certification Course on Indirect Taxes and GST conducted by ICAI. He is a commerce graduate from Bangalore University.

• Experience

  I have extensive experience in advising domestic and multinational companies across a range of industries in the area of customs and other in-country indirect taxes.  I have also been leading multiple initiatives on GST readiness including process/technology readiness and impact of enhanced compliance requirements on the business and need for technology enablement. I have represented clients before central and state regulatory authorities in pre-dispute and dispute resolution processes, in representation for clarification or advocacy for change.
