Sir/Madam,

Sub: Creation of official e-mail accounts of all administrative CsIT/DsIT on the website of the department mail.incometaxindia.gov.in for urgent communication – reg.

Kindly refer to the above.

2. The JDIT(Systems) had posted a letter dtd 16/03/12 on website giving list of designation linked email IDs of all CCsIT/DsGIT and administrative CCsIT/DsIT created on the department server. The officers were requested to obtain the password from the webmaster and activate the mail account.

3. As the Member(A&J) pointed out in the video conference today that test email will be sent to all CCsIT and administrative CsIT on their official email, the letter dtd 16/03/12 by Systems Directorate referred above, is again brought to notice (enclosed to this letter) of all, so that officers can take necessary action.

3. The Member(A&J) desires that CCsIT/DsGIT & CCsIT/DsIT activate their respective e-mail account on “mail.incometaxindia.gov.in” forthwith and start using the same for official communication.

4. The email ID and password should be intimated to the successor-in-office at the time of handing over charge.
