Relief package for Doctors para-medicals, hygiene workers and technicians and front-line warriors – Rs. 50 lakh insurance for each individual.
PM Garib Kalyan Yojana
PM Garib Kalyan anna yojana: The scheme already benefitting already 80 crore people who are getting 5kg of rice/wheat per month already in place. More 5kgs per person for the next 3 months for free. Also, to give 1 kg of the pulse (regional) for the next 3 months. It can be taken in 2 installments per month.
Cash transfer
Farmers:
Rs. 6000 annually already benefiting from ‘Kissan Saman Nidhi’. 1st installment to be given now. Rs. 2000. Total 8.69 crore farmers to be benefitted
NREGA [what is this]:
Wage increase in Manrega. To benefit 5 crore families. Rs. 2000 per worker. Rs. 181 increased to 202 increase
Poor Widows / Pensioners / Divyangs (handicapped):
Individuals who are 60 years plus. Ex gratia distribution of Rs. 1000 in installments over 3 months
Jan Dan Yojna accounts (Women) –
20 crore holders. Ex gratia amount of Rs. 500 per month for the next 3 months.
Ujjwala scheme (Women):
Gas cylinders – 8 crores BPL families benefitting already. Free gas cylinders for the next 3 months. 8.30 crore BPL families.
Self-help groups (Women):
7 crore households already benefiting. Under the deen Dayal Yojna, Rs. 10 lakh collateral-free loans already available. Now doubled to Rs. 20 lakhs.
Organized sector workers (EPFO):
PM Garib Kalyan Yojna: EPL contribution of 12% for employer and employee each to be paid by GOI for the next 3 months. Applicable for entities having up to 100 employees AND of which 90% of who earning Rs. 15k p.m or less. Not others.
Withdrawals:
80 lakh employees and incentivize 4 lakh.
Waiver money:
EPFO schemes to be amended to allow the non-refundable advance of 75% of standing amounts to the credit of the member or 3 months of wages whichever is lower
Construction workers:
The welfare fund already in place for 31k crore building and construction workers is there under the Central Government Scheme. It already has above 3.5 cr registered workers. Direct state governments to utilize these funds for the welfare of building and construction workers.
District mineral fund:
Request the State Government to utilize the funds for medical testing and screening activating and other activities that will be necessary to fight the virus.
This is the immediate measures undertaken. More measures shall be rolled out in time.
