GST Registration in case of multiple businesses
- If a Proprietor is having more than 1 business in the same state then whether separate registration is required for each business? What impact will it have on claiming ITC in case of a single registration for multiple businesses in the same state?
- Is it possible to have two trade names in one registration? If yes how to apply

a) Separate registration is optional. if two registrations taken then books of accounts to be maintained separately and accordingly ITC to be also segregated
b) If you want to have on registration and multiple trade name, you can add in the registration certificate
