A small business person turnover below 40 lakh in a financial year.
My doubt which type of accounting books maintained
1. If he is a person registered in gst
2. If he is a person not registered in gst.

whether registered or not
a) use an accounting software preferably tally easy to maintain
b) Follow accrual method, proper control on income and expenses
